What HRG Does
HRG Homebuyers is a highly experienced team of home buying professionals. We are focused on helping homeowners like you to sell your house fast, without any hassle, surprises, or fees. Our job is to stay committed to delivering this service with transparency and integrity throughout the entire experience.
We buy properties all over Southern California. Our team knows the area, which means our team of professionals can help you sell your property fast no matter where it is or what condition it’s in (and even if there are tenants).
Again, we’re not agents who are trying to sell your house to others. HRG is a team of professional home buyers, which means we have our own cash and are ready to buy immediately. We can even make you an offer on the spot. Once we make you an offer you can choose whether or not you want to take that offer (and you can even shop it around if you want, talk it over with others, and think about it before deciding). We have a strict no-pressure policy, and our many previous clients love it and are proof that it works.

Charlie Ortiz
Founder & Senior Acquisitions Manager
Since 2012, Charlie has put his years of extensive knowledge and experience to use from working with contractors, builders, and developers for the interests of our clients. At heart, that is his true passion. In his free time, he loves to read, take for walks with his wife and their dogs, visiting the beach with his two teenage sons, and playing tennis.
Tommy Smith
Acquisitions & Finance Manager
In 2010, Tommy earned a bachelor’s degree in business finance, graduating from San Diego State University Fowler College of Business. His discipline, structure and enjoyment of calculating formulas is a win-win formula when assisting homeowners solve complex and difficult issues. In his spare time, Tommy enjoys showing and training dogs, and spending time with his kids at many athletic events, exercising and reading. Mr. Smith is also a U.S. Navy veteran.
Nick Castrellon
Acquisitions / Marketing Director
Over the course of 20 years, Nick has done graphic design and copywriting for the finance and real estate industries. Nick’s “why” is helping as many people not go through what his family did when they faced foreclosure back in 2012. After seeing the HRG team help others move on from tough situations, he became very passionate about being a resource of information to our clients. During Nick’s downtime he enjoys cooking, weight lifting, playing his guitar and being a dad to his family of dogs and cats.
Drew Nagda
Chief Financier & Builder
Drew works hand-in-hand with the HRG team, helping solve seller problems, and assisting the team to close out deals. The relationship he has with HRG is complementary as he fixes up distressed properties and cleans up the neighborhoods in our target areas. This helps when speaking with sellers because Drew takes pride building beautiful houses, and the sellers, city officials, and community members appreciate the craftsmanship with the end result. In his spare time he enjoys exercising, spending time with family and his dog, and supporting local youth soccer teams.
